Our School is situated in beautiful surroundings in the province of Roi Et, not far from the capital of the same name, which is about 500km north-east of Bangkok, and a couple of hours from the Laos border.

We are easily reached from Bangkok, either by the one-hour flight with PBair to Roi Et, or the luxury coach (seven hours) to Kasetwisia.

The buildings are neo-classical in design, influenced by my second home in Greece.

The house is built around a Quadrangle, tastefully surrounded by Greek columns, and containing a large pool with ornamental fish.

There is a very large communal living room with Internet and TV/DVD, which also functions as a dining room where you will experience superb Thai cuisine prepared by my wife, Punnee.

The bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with wash-basin, shower, and toilet, and open through French windows onto the open countryside.

Sculpture School

The gardens are extensive and contain a lake full of fish, (which you are welcome to try and catch!!) , and there is a lake-house built in Thai style reached by a footbridge, where it's wonderful to sit peacefully and watch the herons and astonishingly beautiful butterflies.

The School's studio itself is over 85 square metres.

The whole provides a wonderfully tranquil and creative environment in which to learn and practice your skills.

We currently have vacancies for one and two months starting in December 2009.

We will teach you the the proper use of the tools, and the techniques required, to enable you to sculpt stone and model clay sculptures, and then we will assist you as you produce both a modern sculpture in Marble, and a portrait bust, the Torso, in Clay.

Tuition lasts for approximately 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday, which leaves seven weekends free to explore both the local vicinity, and for the more adventurous, Laos and Cambodia which are just two hours away, and Vietnam three.

We can organise both car and motorcycle hire on your behalf, and there is a good range of restaurants in the area.

Accommodation, breakfast and evening meals, and use of all the above facilities are included in the price of your course.

And to top it all, you can avail yourselves of the services of our Thai Masseuse to ease away any aches and pains after a hard-days work!

You'll need to bring your own tools ....

a good set of Stone Chisels and a good set of Stone Rifflers.

They can be bought at Tiranti in the UK.

We hope to see you soon!
